NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING
The City Council is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing for the following:
WHO: City of Culver City Current Planning Division
WHAT: City-Initiated Zoning Code Amendment to various sections of the Zoning Code, including but not limited to, 17.300.020 – Setback Regulations and Exceptions, 17.320.035 – Parking Design and Layout Guidelines, Chapter 17.520 – Temporary Use, Special Event, and Temporary Event Permits, and 17.700.010 – Definitions of Specialized Terms and Phrases, to update and clarify various development standards and specific land uses for effective implementation, internal consistency, and State compliance, including, but not limited to, equipment setbacks, screening, fences, landscape, parking, and definitions and criteria of specific land uses (Case No. P2025-0023-ZCA).

WHEN: Monday, May 12, 2025, at 7 PM
WHY: The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the City Council to review and receive public input on the proposed Zoning Code Amendment, which proposes to make a variety of updates.
CEQA: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15061(b)(3), the Project is exempt because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the Project, a Zoning Code Amendment to update and clarify various development standards and specific land uses for effective implementation and internal consistency, will have a significant effect on the environment.
The City Council Agenda and Project staff report will be available for viewing online and at City Hall no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time. Public comments may be submitted BEFORE 3 PM on Monday, May 12, 2025, by LETTER to Culver City Current Planning Division, Attention: Gabriela Silva, 9770 Culver Boulevard., 2nd floor, Culver City, CA 90232, FAX (310) 253-5721, EMAIL gabriela.silva@culvercity.org, or PHONE, (310) 253-5736. City Hall hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed every other Friday (Closed May 2nd). The Project file including the plans are currently available to view by contacting the case planner.
