The City Council is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing for the following:

WHO:      City of Culver City

WHAT:     A City-initiated Zoning Code Amendment affecting all related Chapters, including, but not limited to, Chapter 17.320 – Off-street Parking and Loading, Section 17.220.035 – Commercial Downtown (CD) District Requirements, and Chapter 17.610 – Non-conforming Uses, Structures, and Parcels.  The Zoning Code Amendment proposes to eliminate minimum required parking and revise standards for automated parking/parking stackers, bicycle parking, and loading (Case No: P2022-0234-ZCA).

WHERE:  REGULAR MEETING – Attend in Person or Virtually via WebEx

City Hall – Mike Balkman Council Chambers: 9770 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232

FACE MASKS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, BUT NOT REQUIRED, IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS.

WHEN:    Monday, October 10, 2022, at 7 PM

WHY:       The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the City Council to review and to receive public input on the proposed Zoning Code Amendment

CEQA:     Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), Common Sense Exemption, the Zoning Code Amendment (Project) is exempt because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility the Project will have a significant effect on the environment.  The Project by itself, does not result in any physical changes in the environment because it will only amend the Zoning Code as it relates to requirements for parking, bicycle parking, and loading as part of future development, and does not result in changes to existing land use, density, or intensification of development beyond what the Zoning Code currently allows.

The City Council Agenda and Project staff report will be available for viewing online and at City Hall no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time.  Submit comments BEFORE 3 PM on Monday, October 10, 2022, by LETTER to Culver City Current Planning Division, Attention: Gabriela Silva, 9770 Culver Blvd., 2nd floor, Culver City, CA 90232, FAX at (310) 253-5721, EMAIL to gabriela.silva@culvercity.org, or PHONE at (310) 253-5736.  City Hall Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed every other Friday (Closed September 23, October 7).
