NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING

The Planning Commission is pleased to invite your participation in a meeting concerning the following:

WHO:      Echo Horizon School/Echo Foundation (Applicant)

WHAT:     Request for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow the continuation of an existing private school.  The school’s current CUP will expire on June 30, 2022.  (Case No:P2022-0081-CUP).

WHERE:  REGULAR MEETING – Attend In-Person or virtually via Webex

               City Hall – Mike Balkman Council Chambers, 9770 Culver Boulevard, Culver City, CA 90232

FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS

WHEN:     Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 7 PM

WHY:       The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the Planning Commission to review and to receive public input on the proposed CUP and consider approval of the request.

CEQA:     Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, initial review of the project established there are no potential significant adverse impacts upon the environment, and the project is determined to be Categorically Exempt pursuant to CEQA Section 15301, Class 1–Existing Facilities, because the CUP permits school operations at existing school facilities and will not result in expansion of the existing use.
