PRCS UPDATE  – Here’s What’s Happening Now!

Registration is not currently being taken. Teen Center is closed as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.

When in operation, staff at the Culver City Teen Center provide a wide variety drop - in services year round for residents and students attending Culver City Middle School and High School. Membership is $100 per year per teen. Registration may be done online, by mail or in person at the Recreation Registration Office. The Teen Center is closed during CCUSD recognized holiday's, pupil free days, summer, winter and spring recess. We do offer camps during that time.

Hours of Operation

During the School Year Only
Monday - Friday 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM
1:00 PM on Wednesdays for early dismissal.

Closed on days when school is not open during summer, spring breaks and all federal holidays.

Youth Empowerment Volunteer Group 

Get Involved!

Youth Empowerment has been a part of the Teen Center since 1993.  It was started by the coordinator at the time to increase community involvement projects for participants at the Teen Center. Through the years the group has tackled many projects such as a disability awareness spring carnival, pet adoptions, renovation of the Teen Center patio, murals, volunteering at the annual City Dr. King event, and community forums with elected officials and many more.  We look for students that want to be empowered by the act of giving.  Students may receive service learning hours during regular schedule planning meetings and participation in events. Student must be in middle or high school to join and a Teen Center member.

Where do you register?

Culver City PRCS Registration office, located at 4117 Overland Avenue

Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM to 7:00PM; Saturday & Sunday, 10:00AM to 4:00PM

Can you make sure my child stays in the Teen Center?

Our staff is responsible for children inside of our facility. We cannot force them to stay inside of our building. We are a drop in program.

Is there supervision?

Yes; we have recreation leaders in each room available for use during the program.

Do you offer tutoring?

Yes; we offer tutoring for teen center members. It is offered from October – June. Monday – Friday from 3:00PM to 6:00PM.

How much does membership cost?

Yearly membership is $100.00 per teen.
