Architect Andrea Cohen Gehring, muralist Art Mortimer, and fabricator Global Entertainment Industry collaborated to create this three-dimensional Culver City street scene which includes a replica of a 1948 Helms Bakery coach. The coach is suspended in mid-flight hurtling down a residential street. As it strikes a fire hydrant, the water from the hydrant flows into a fountain located below the coach. The fountain is comprised of the five Olympic rings, symbolizing the support the Helms Bakery provided to the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

Art Mortimer is a renowned Los Angeles muralist who has completed several murals for the City of Santa Monica (Ocean Park Historical Postcards, 1980 and Santa Monica Beach, 1998) as well as for the City of Los Angeles (Summer, 2004). Mr. Mortimer is a board member of the Mural Conservancy of Los Angeles.

Andrea Cohen Gehring completed Three Sheets to the Wind (1998) for the Culver City public art program. Ms. Gehring is a Partner and Design Principal at WWCOT.
